Captain Jordi
Islamorada Spearfishing Adventures is proudly owner-operated by Captain Jordi was raised in the Florida Keys, growing up diving and exploring the reefs of Islamorada.
Captain Jordi is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (Pro #401896) with over 16 years of diving experience and nearly a decade working as a dive professional. His career has taken him around the world, working as a dive guide in Egypt and Cyprus, and serving as a safety diver and first responder for Cirque du Soleil.
When you book a trip, you’re not getting a random hired captain — Captain Jordi personally runs every charter, guiding each dive and tailoring the experience to your group.
Safety is always the top priority. Our vessel is fully equipped with professional-grade safety equipment including oxygen, trauma kits, first aid equipment, and an AED. In fact, we are proud to be the only private spearfishing charter locally equipped with an AED on board. Each year our vessel the Sea Brieze participates in a voluntary US Coast Guard UPV safety inspection to ensure we meet the highest safety standards on the water.

Captain Pete
Captain Pete is a South Florida native with more than 20 years of experience diving, spearfishing, and fishing throughout the Florida Keys. As a U.S. Army veteran, licensed captain, and dive professional he brings an unmatched sense of safety, and leadership to every trip on the water.
For the past two years he has been a key part of the Islamorada Spearfishing Adventures team, guiding guests on spearfishing, lobster hunting, and diving charters throughout the Upper Keys. Known for his animated personality and enthusiasm in the water, Captain Pete has a natural ability to help guests spot fish, improve their hunting skills, and make the most of every dive.
An avid fisherman, diver, and hunter, he has spent decades learning the reefs and patch reefs of the Florida Keys.
Truly local Captain
Captain Jordi was raised in the Florida Keys and grew up on these waters. Long before running charters, he was diving the reefs, lobstering, and learning the ocean alongside local fishermen and captains. Those early years exploring the Keys created a deep understanding of the reefs, marine life, and changing conditions that only comes from growing up here.
Today, Captain Jordi shares that lifelong local knowledge with guests from around the world. From shallow patch reefs to deeper ledges, every trip is guided by the same experience and familiarity with the water that started when he was a kid diving the Florida Keys.
